Some will think doing a budget is a tedious, mundane task. How do you know where you’re going, if you don’t have a plan for getting there? How do you know how well your business is progressing or not, if you don’t have something to measure your performance against? The answer is a Budget. This is your financial guide which helps to:

  • Manage expenses and income: this is controlling expenditures for specific periods by comparing what was spent during that period to the master budget. In addition, constant monitoring of expenses and revenues so as to not exceed the budget.

  • Allocate resources to the appropriate items:Creates balance and show projections of growth or decline in profit.
